Update concerning Leonard Watson:

We want you to be aware of a serious health issue concerning Mr. Leonard Watson. Mr. Watson has been in the hospital since last Monday, June 4th. He has been weakened with pneumonia and is not responding well to treatment. Further testing today revealed that Mr. Watson has a mass on one of his lungs which has been diagnosed as lung cancer. We ask that you daily remember Mr. Watson and his wife Shirley in your prayers.

Thank You

Update concerning Jennie Tremble:

Jennie Tremble needs your prayers. Earlier today she underwent a procedure to remove fluid from her lungs. The procedure was very painful and difficult to bear. It was thought that she would need to have her lungs drained again the following day but there was enough improvement that she didn’t have to have the painful procedure again.   Please continue to pray for Jennie…there is a growth (cancer) in her right lung. Also pray for ease of pain.

Thank You

Prayer Request

May 8, 2012

Please pray for Louis. He fell today and I think he cracked a rib. He will not go to the hospital. He said no he has to go tomorrow for them to draw blood, they can see him then. Please pray that God will heal him and remove the pain. He said his chest hurts and he seems to keep his hand on it. Thanks to everyone in advance for the prayer.

Louis and Mary Lawson

FEAST OF TABERNACLES 2012

Sunday evening, September 30th thru Sunday, October 7th

Last Great Day, Monday, October 8th

Los Abrigados Resort & Spa, Sedona, Arizona

Diamond International’s Los Abrigados Resort & Spa is a very family oriented Time-Share community stretched out on the banks of Oak Creek on twenty-two acres of winding walkways, cascading fountains and shady nooks. The name is very appropriate as it literally means “The Shelter”. Most definitely, the setting and the ambiance is very fitting for the Feast of Tabernacles and all that it represents. Members attending the Feast are highly encouraged to arrange Feast accommodations at Los Abrigados.

Daily services and all other Church related functions will be held at this location. The Church has arranged for several 1 Bedroom Suites at $125.00 per night + tax. This is the same pricing as last year in Monterey, Calif. However, the rooms are larger, especially the very ample closet space, and have been most recently upgraded. Every Suite has a fully equipped kitchenette with stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster oven, coffee maker, pots and pans, dishes, utensils, dishwasher, etc. Lower levels have a patio w/BBQ while upper levels have a balcony w/BBQ. The majority of the Suites have two Regular beds but there are also Suites available with one King bed. There are also a limited number of 2 Bedroom Suites available, at $200.00 +tax, for those members with larger families.

As previously mentioned the Resort is very family oriented. Some of the Services and Amenities included are: Full Restaurant and Bar (open from 11:30 a.m. seven days a week for lunch and dinner); Fitness Center; Full Service Salon & Spa; Outdoor/heated Children’s Pool; Outdoor/heated salt water pool and hot tub; Picnic area; Putting greens/miniature golf; Tennis courts; Basketball; Pool tables; and much more.

Reservations should be made immediately. However, because this is an International Time-Share Resort with a centrally located international registration, all reservations for Los Abrigados must be handled through the Church. All members should contact Joe Bagley by e-mail at jbagley1@comcast.net or by telephone at area code (209) 931-7897 where you may leave a message if Joe is not able to answer. Please contact Joe at your earliest opportunity so that we may ensure that we have full-filled our obligations to the Resort.
